Our golden host Mac is our much-loved golden retriever and the heart of Mac's Goldie Getaway. Gentle, playful, and incredibly patient.
Whether your dog needs a calm companion or a new best friend, Mac's steady temperament makes everyone feel right at home.
He welcomes just one guest at a time into our home for a boutique stay with personalised care. Whether it's walks, rest, company and golden-approved fun.

We know what goldens need because we live with one and that's why your pup will be treated like part of the family from the moment they arrive.
Every stay is tailored to their needs, from food and routines to favourite toys, because we know goldens aren't just dogs, they're people in fur coats.
We started Mac's Goldie Getaway to offer other goldies the kind of care we'd want for our own: personal, calm, full of love, a stay where they feel safe, happy, and truly at home.
Beau
Our little boy is already a goldie lover, growing up with the sweetest, gentlest four-legged friends. We've seen firsthand how incredible these dogs are with children and families.
Beau has been around dogs from the very beginning, and they've become part of his everyday world. Because of that, we understand exactly what it means to create a safe, calm, family-friendly environment where your pup feels completely at ease.
